Users want the ability to adjust the font size within ByteMail, or at minimum use standard Cmd + and Cmd - zoom shortcuts to scale the interface. This would improve readability and accessibility for users with different visual needs or display preferences.

Planned
5A full German translation of ByteMail for Mac and iPhone: menus, settings, onboarding, notifications and help text. The app follows your system language automatically, and dates, times and numbers use German formatting.
A full Spanish translation of ByteMail for Mac and iPhone: menus, settings, onboarding, notifications and help text. The app follows your system language automatically, and dates, times and numbers use Spanish formatting.
Get notified on your iPhone the moment new mail arrives, even when ByteMail is closed or the phone is locked, instead of only seeing it after the app refreshes. Notifications show sender and subject with quick actions (Archive, Mark as Read, Reply), respect per-account and VIP settings, and keep the app badge in sync. Built privacy-first: no message content is stored on our servers.
Allow users to assign a custom icon or emoji to each label filter in the sidebar, similar to Gmail's label personalization. This would make labels easier to scan and visually distinguish at a glance.
In Progress
2A built-in MCP server lets Claude, Cursor and other AI apps search, summarise and triage your mail across every IMAP account, all on your Mac and working even when ByteMail is closed. Agents can draft replies, archive, flag and snooze. Sending always waits for your approval inside ByteMail, and every agent action is logged with Undo. One-time codes and reset links are hidden by default, and setup is a copy-paste snippet in Settings › Agents.
ByteMail is coming to iPhone, with the same conversation-style inbox built for touch. It can pick up the accounts you already use on your Mac through iCloud, and one licence covers both iPhone and Mac.
